Curatorial text for the Chaos exhibition:

Finally one day I arrive at CAOS, my curiosity is gaining on me, encouraged by a certain seduction that emanates from his personality.

CHAOS is a space, not just any space. It is a physical space, a small house in Carrasco, inhabited by seven women.

They feel very proud of this profound idea, of this place without contours where poetry is possible. Because chaos is also a mental space where the sails swell and begin their voyage, on a real and imaginary journey, on a drift, towards a horizon with new shores, perhaps, a chimera.

The water of the silver river had delayed this meeting. It was comforting to be able to watch and form an idea of the power of connection of and with these women.

Original and primordial, water provided a guiding thread for them to find a thousand ways to squeeze it. And in that exploratory attitude, throughout the journey, they stopped at what they were discovering, at images that they recovered from their childhood, their memories, their fantasies and desires, their unanswered questions.

Using various visual and material resources, in different scales and formats, they created images, poetically enunciating the importance of doing and without resorting to dramatic or catastrophic effects, they created fictions.

Fiction, like the spider web, is always tied, sometimes very lightly, but tied nonetheless, to life at its four corners. It is in the time that passes in that little house in Carrasco, where there is a virtuous containment network in which fragments of life and fiction are trapped, which like pearls, embellish that spider web.1s it protects.
